The Centre was opened in March 2004 by the Mid-Cheshire Primary Health Care Trust. The town’s two general practices and the Mid Cheshire Health Trust clinics were re-housed at Ashfields together with a pharmacy. It was built on the former ERF site on Middlewich Road at a cost of £4 million. This is one of the biggest Primary Care Centres in the country.
