To celebrate National Independent Retailer month in July, Town Centre Manager, Amanda Wagg, has teamed up with local Design and Marketing Agency, Blueye Media to offer an amazing prize to participants of July's Shop Doctor scheme.  Firstly, all participants will receive a free consultation from two of Sandbach's leading retailers then participants will be entered into a free prize draw.

Retail experts from Waitrose and Boots will be visiting any participating retailer’s shop during July and will be on hand to offer advice and guidance to help maximise sales.

Sandbach Charter Market Review

Sandbach’s historic Thursday Charter Market has been a significant feature of the town for hundreds of years and continues to add character to the town to this day. As with many traditional markets nationally, recent years have seen difficult trading conditions and Sandbach Town Council recognise the importance of being proactive in stopping and hopefully reversing this decline to ensure that we retain the character and vitality that the Charter Market brings to Sandbach.

February 2012 Update

During 2011, a new open play area was installed for children ages 8 to 15 years, including climbing frame, zip wire and swings. A separate, but adjoining area for toddlers up to 8 years was installed in a quiet garden area with additional seating, including two picnic tables.

Further projects due for completion before the summer are –
A multi-use games area (“MUGA”) to include tennis and other sports.
